Biography
“Ever since my tour of Franciscan and seeing Anathan Theatre, I’ve always wanted to be involved in their productions. I auditioned first thing here when coming here as a freshman but did not get cast in the mainstage production, although I did perform in several student one-acts. I still loved the theatre and kept auditioning until I was cast in my first mainstage production, “The Elephant Man.” I had tons of fun with the cast and our wonderful director, Professor Walker. I look forward to more great memories with all future productions.”
The play explores Christian themes as it examines a society based on outward appearance and social status rather than the worth of each individual soul. Ultimately, it reinforces the core of Catholic social teaching, which is to respect the dignity of each human life regardless of appearance.
